The origin of the banketstaaf goes all the way back to the 1800’s. About the why and how is little known but some say that the banketstaaf, in the form a letters, came over to the Netherlands from the Dutch Antilles, a former Dutch Colony. The shape of the letters depended on the initials of the family members.
Nowadays the letters O, S and M or a straight log/bar are available in the Netherlands.
At The Dutch Snacks Company we only make the log/bar version.

Warming instructions
For best results warm as follow:
Pre heat oven at 180C, remove all packaging and place the product in the centre of the oven for 5-10 minutes
Can also be eaten cold
